PAST PROJECTS
National Gambling Support Network Campaign
Gamcare
National gambling harms charity
Managed end-to-end press campaign delivery for the National Gambling Support Network, overseeing the full media relations lifecycle from strategy through to evaluation.
This included drafting and refining press releases, navigating a multi-stakeholder sign-off process to secure approvals from campaign partners while maintaining editorial integrity and meeting tight deadlines. I developed and executed a targeted press distribution strategy in collaboration with the wider team, and oversaw the relationship with the broadcast PR agency responsible for coordinating interview slots — managing the process of matching spokespeople to the right media opportunities at the right time.
Central to the campaign was working directly with people with lived experience of gambling harm. I ensured they had all the tools and messaging documents to speak powerfully and safely to the press as campaign spokespeople, ensuring their voices remained central to the narrative without compromising their wellbeing.
The campaign achieved all stakeholder-defined KPIs — securing features across all eight gambling trade publications, generating 15 pieces of national written coverage and broadcast interviews, and driving a measurable increase in mentions of the National Gambling Support Network throughout the campaign period.

Global Health non-profit membership organisation
Led the content delivery for the launch of a major global health equity report spanning Kenya, Ghana, Vietnam and Colombia.
I created platform-specific content tailored to the distinct audiences and formats of LinkedIn, X and Facebook, and produced adaptable social copy and graphics designed for in-country partner amplification, enabling local organisations to share the campaign messaging in a way that felt native to their own networks and communities.
EARTH JOURNALISM NETWORK X THE SCOSTMAN MEDIA PARTNERSHIP
Internews
Leading global media freedom non profit
During the COP26 United Nations Climate Change Conference in Glasgow, brokered and managed a high-profile media partnership between the Internews Earth Journalism Network programme and The Scotsman newspaper, to amplify the voices of international journalists reporting on the ground at the conference.
Over the two-week summit, the partnership resulted in 14 articles published in print and online, with each piece representing the authentic perspective of a global reporter covering the climate crisis from their own region.
Provided hands-on editorial support throughout, working closely with journalists writing in English as a second language to ensure their stories were sharp, accurate and told precisely as they intended — without losing their voice in the process. The success of the partnership was recognised in Press Gazette, the leading media trade publication, which featured the collaboration in its COP26 round-up.
The impact extended beyond the conference itself — the partnership directly resulted in the Earth Journalism Network securing further funding to continue and expand the programme.
